Live Illustration focuses on sketching individual guests—capturing their presence and personality in quick, expressive portraits, usually using ink and watercolor. Each sketch becomes a keepsake they can take home.
Live Painting is a larger canvas work created during the event, often capturing the overall scene—such as the ceremony, reception, or a special moment. It’s meant to be a lasting artwork for the couple or host. However, extra portraits of people or pets can be added upon request.

On average, a single artist illustrates up to 10 guests per hour, with timing depending on the level of detail and whether the portraits are of individuals or couples. For events with a higher guest count, our Duo Package — featuring two artists working simultaneously — provides the perfect solution.
The suggested time frames reflect our experience, allowing every guest to enjoy a thoughtful, personal portrait without any sense of being hurried.

We capture portraits from photos taken on-site, so your guests can fully enjoy the celebration — mingling, laughing, and making memories — while we sketch them effortlessly in the background.

Yes, we’re based in Salzburg, Austria, but are happy to travel across Europe and beyond.

The answer is Yes! Live illustration and live painting complement each other beautifully. We’re happy to create a custom package if you’d like both.

Before the Event:
• Event date, time, and location
• Number of guests (for live illustration)
• Preferred format or scene (for live painting)
• Venue layout or reference photos (if available)
• Any specific requests for colors, style, or themeWe’ll schedule a short consultation beforehand to make sure everything flows smoothly on the day.
On the Day:
• A stable work desk and a chair (seat height)
• Good lighting conditions — especially a desk lamp for evening events
• A shaded or covered area if the event takes place outdoors
• Access to drinking water and a short break during longer sessions -
For guest fashion illustration, our packages start from 3 hours and can be tailored to your guest numbers and personal needs.
You may choose from packages of 3, 4 or 5 hours, with either single artist or duo artists.
From 6 hours onwards, a day rate can be arranged upon request.
For canvas live painting, pricing varies depending on:

Whether post-event studio work is required
Travel fees:
Within Salzburg city and surroundings (up to 40 km) → included
Outside this range or abroad → fees will be discussed once the location is confirmed
